Benjamin Sheares Bridge
This bridge named after the Republic of Singapore’s second head of State. It is the imposing via duct links the east and west coasts of the island.


Cavenagh Bridge
The grand old lady of the Singapore River bridges. Built in 1869, the bridge was named in honour of Colonel Cavenagh, the last India-appointed Governor of Singapore. It was originally planed as a drawbridge.However, it was found upon completion to be suitable only as a fixed structure. It is now a pedestrain bridge.
